Oh, I know this well; despite the modernity of the structures, I love these columns and bridges. As well I love the beaver lodge in the middle of the waterway near here, and those little pedestrian bridges with the canoe pass-unders that go from island to island, although you definitely need rubber boots to do that hike! Excellent POV!

Gorgeous light! I opened the pic with great interest, almost trepidation, as 'trolling' here is what gay men do when they wander about looking to pick someone up for a good time! They wouldn't have much luck just here by the looks of it!

Light in this late afternoon photo is beautifully portrayed...particularly like the hues of the sky and reflections in the lake waters. This was a fascinating visit as we got to watch all these colors change continuously over a period of maybe 1 1/2 hours up to sunset and beyond. Well done my friend.

I saw this title and thought "oh dear" as the term in Chicago is usually the definition of what older gay men do on the internet when they're looking for substantially younger amatory partners than themselves...part of the term comes from one of the more unfortunately shallow elements of that particular community in which the "trollers" are also looked upon as...um...beauty-challenged, i.e. "trolls." Of course, I also recognize the nicer reference to those weird critters that live under bridges and often demand extraordinary tolls and so definition number 2 is what I'm sticking with here, as I pull my mind out of the gay-ghetto-gutter (don't you just love alliteration?) I love the light in this and the sweep of the freeway...that's a west coast term I learned, in Chicago we call those thingies "express ways" but most of them aren't that express, at least not at rush hour. I love that graceful curve and the reflections on the water. Wonderful colors and sunlight! This is a great piece of photographic art!
