And she did. About 11:22 last night she breathed her last earthly breath. A better world is hers today and her old body is in a new grave next to some others, covered with a lovely layer of new snow.

Oh, I share your tears! It is always hard to say goodbye to those we love. But you can be sure that she left knowing that she was loved dearly and had a very, very good life.

If this is the cat you mailed me about, and it certainly seems so, my goodness she is the spitting image of Riku! No wonder you mailed! I shall endeavour to get Riku to pose longer than I second, and take another picture of him to post. He usually sits facing all and sundry (front legs always crossed) so he can see what is happening. ^+^ This is a very poignant image.
