Description
Here is the reworked Omega Draken in 2-D (just like the title says). I took 5 images with different levels of rendered light flare in Photoshop 7 and layered them in Image Ready. After that I jumped to PS7 to save as Gif for web and back to IR to save optimized. All this to bring you a simple yet gradual eye flare in 2-D. I know some of you, if not most of you know how to pull off this little trick, but I was asked how I did this with a simple 2 frame animation, so I decided to explain it. I hope someone finds this helpful, not that I don't mind sharing what little I do know. Sometimes I just feel a bit silly 'cause I can't say I know much more than this.

A click to full size will show the animation, unfortunately at this size it got a little cartoonie and washed out. Suggestions on how I might remedy this would be apriciated.
