Description

My stepson Brandon and I came up with a novel way to raise money for earthquake relief in Haiti. He's on the Grade 7 student council at Thornhill Elementary, and they are going to be selling bookmarks that I made in Poser and PaintShop, and donating all the proceeds to The Red Cross. His sister Elicia also thinks I should give the idea to my "computer friends" for their kids and schools....so... Here's what I'm doing...each design is 350x1050 and 2 side by side(I do it in paintshop) fit perfectly for the Walmart photo sizes of a 4x6 print. I have them printed at the photocenter and cut each 4x6 in half to make the bookmarks...I think they look great and the cost per bookmark is only 10 cents.(we live in northern BC, Canada) The kids had a blast helping me come up with picture ideas and I'm happy to donate my time and the printing costs. Here are a few examples of what we did :)

Fantastic idea and I applaud you and the children for this creative way of donating and helping, and it sure is a good way to help the kids in your school to heal from images I am sure they have seen on television. and they are all cute, if I had to choose I would pick the one with the monkey saying is this my page? Good luck!!
