Great composition and image!!
Ah, you got the digifiddlers on this one...and I absolutely agree. This is an astonishingly rich and vibrant image all by itself and it really doesn't need a fiddle at all...and yet, it's so rich and inviting and so full of inspirational sparks that digifiddles aren't out of the question. It is inspiring. It's fun. And for me, it's deliciously colorful. Nicely tart as well...and like Carin, I can think of many uses for those lemons, and like Clive...hmmm...tequila, though I'm more of a vodka guy. Lemons, touched with just a hint of sugar would make an interesting zakuski (Russian, for "snack" usually enjoyed while drinking vodka) though I was thinking the pineapple would be a better choice. You could even just sniff the skin and that would be great! But anyway, I've gone on and on and on without even commenting on the "pastry resistance" which is as far as French goes with me...my profoundest apologies for anyone who speaks French as their native language. Like German, it's close enough to English to suffer greatly on the tongues of those who speak...well...English. So without too much further ado...I love this image. It's very bright and alive, and I just saw Marilyn's fabric photos and I can see it side by side with this one! It's a perfect compliment. What grabs me is the color, the texture, the color, the light, the color, and the whole composition, as well as the color, just in case I didn't mention that. The lemons are so deliciously luscious, and I can virtually smell them, and yeah...I could do with fresh-squeezed lemonade right about now...or lemon meringue pie...even better! And while eating my pie, I can look at this image and the series it belongs to. I love it. And I'm also curious. Do you have any pineapple shots? That's really what grabbed me. It's the texture, and the way it seems so rich and alive. Well...I'll understand if you ate the pineapple, but I would love to see more. I love this series, and I think that right about now it's high time that I shut up. So before shutting up, I'll say that I love this piece. It's brilliant.
very nice clos up, Bill, the almost jump out of the shot...smile
