Description

The word energy comes from the Low Latin energia who himself comes from ancient Greek ἐνέργεια (energeia), which means "force in action], as opposed to δύναμις (dynamis) meaning" strong power ".
Energy is an old concept. Having operated his own strength and that of animals, humans learned to harness the energy contained in nature (primarily wind energy, wind and falling water, hydro) and able to provide a quantity increasing mechanical work by using machines: machine tools, boilers and engines. The energy is supplied by a fuel (liquid or gaseous fossil fuel or not).
Human experience shows that any work requiring strength and produces heat, the more you "spending" power per amount of time, the sooner we do work, and it heats up.
Because energy is necessary for any human enterprise, the supply of energy sources has become a major concern of human societies.

Great one Claude!!!
Lovely!
A magnificent depiction of energy! There is not a thing on this earth that does not need energy, a fuel of some kind. Even humans, they must consume food in order to create the energy necessary for movement, for thought, for emotion. Plants, animals, bacteria, everything needs to consume something, even stars, nebulae .. one consumes another, dies and becomes fuel for something else.
I am speechless!
