Yes Excellent shot of this :)
What a great looking photo this is, but still looks to cold for me lol, they do look like thorns, great capture Bill...
Wow, how spikey this frost looks in this marvellous capture. It looks quite beautiful in zoom too.
Amazing how frost looks. :)) Excellent Macro. Thank you for sharing beauty. :)) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))
I'll try to get this in before Tara does her thing. Super focus and ambiance in this cool capture, Bill! A zoom really does bring it to the fore. I'd hate to get those little itchy branches down the back of my shirt.
This is an instant favorite! At first I thought the frost fingers were thorns but then I noticed that they're frost fingers! At least that's what I call them. They're picked out so perfectly and well...ooooh, nice! I love winter photography for this reason; it's something that shows us more than gray, slushy snow; the kind that often hides the little deposits often left by dogs and then covered up until spring. I love the fact that this is the exact opposite of that and that it shows something pristine, evocative of winter's austere clarity, and that whole sense of winter silence as well.
lovely....!
Beautiful shot. We've had it for the last two mornings. So magical.
Zoom is amazing---I've never seen this, and I'm actually not too sorry--WAY yoo cold for me!!
Cool capture, Bill! Had something alike two days ago in Trotwood, OH... but it was too cold to get out to take some shot...
Neat photo capture, Bill.
Okay, here's Tara, doing her thing! :P (A little soft-shoe shuffle, perhaps?) I love Chip. He's the only person I know who would look at this and decide it's the exact opposite of frozen dog poo. (Okay, that's not EXACTLY what he said, but it's close.) This is spectacular! You've solved the problem of subject with this one beautifully. Wonderful image, dear one!
I seldom see hoar frost here but I remember it as a child. It was one of those magical sights to wake up to. This is equally as magical.
Beautiful!!
WOW ! This is fantastic, Lol! Now the bush can defend it self :-D What an excellent find and capture.
I've never seen it looking like this! It is extraordinary to see how long each crystal has become. I must have known once how hoarfrost happens, but I'd completely forgotten..no surprise!
Cristal of winter.
WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May not be colourful but very, very pretty, amazing how cold gives such pretty things!!!!
Such a beautiful capture.
Oh wow - a lovely furry and frosty edge on the branches! How wonderful! Excellent image Bill!!!
Great macro!!!
I LOVE this Bill...sooo AWESOME!
Nice capture Bill, I see some areas that were only frosted on one side of the tree/bush? I couldn't figure out the why of that, but saw some areas like that too.
WOW! Now thats REALLY cold!.. A beautiful picture.. Outstanding ..Can say no more, Bill. This is a stunner! Rob
Looks like and Acacia tree in B&W! Cold it must be! Clive
