Description
Captain's Log
"We have initiated a full burn to propel us to point 93 of light, the fastest anyone has ever gone.
We'll need the speed to clear the Oort Cloud and the Sved Boundries of outlying planetoids, and once past that.... open space.
Most of the crew are in Stasis, floating upright in tubes of a Non-Newtonian Inertial Dampening Gel, which we're the first Starship to incorporate. The Stasis Tubes are far better than the Freezer Units as it allows the crew to "come out" faster and cleaner, where as the freezers may take as long as a week to release a crew member... not good in an emergency.
We captured this image as the tubes lit up, using a remote camera, as you shouldn't gaze too long in the eyes of the hydra...
The ship shook as the power ignited, and we were thrust forth into the wider universe, into the future, into the unknown....
After so long, We are on our way.."
Robert April, Captain, Atomic Starship Enterprise
what would a full burn look like, viewing dead astern? No one knows, just yet... maybe someday soon....

fantastic scene and wonderful chapter!!!
Very cool the write up also
The negative feel to this looks kool, but I reckon a camera or 3D artists would only last about 2 nanoseconds trying to get this one from behind and come out looking rather crispy ! Interesting & ~Cheers~
