Description
Taken in Cades Cove a part of the Great Smoky National Park, in Tennessee.
How did the Great Smoky Mountains National Park get its name? The Smokies are named for the blue mist that always seems to hover around the peaks and valleys. The Cherokee Indians called them shaconage, (shah-con-ah-jey) or "place of the blue smoke".
I tried to capture the blue mist or smoke of the mountains in this Autumn capture...

Now this is just not fair! You get to photograph this and all I have is concrete and palm trees! You've done an excellent job of bringing out the 'smoke' and the color saturation is fantastic. I guess I'll have to visit soon.
