Description
It is such a beautiful night here tonight and I somehow wanted to share it with you. It is comfortably warm with a very light breeze just moving the leaves. I was floating on my back in the pool and just looked up at the stars and decided to play with some images to try and convey the atmosphere! Although the tones in this monochrome is cool, it somehow conveys my message of a beautiful night... I think... *grin*
Thank you for popping in and for your wonderful support in comments and favs on my previous upload!
Stay well!
Hugs
Carin xx
ps. forgot to say - the image was photographed about 100km from my house and the moon was captured a couple of months ago from my back yard!

magic image Carin, you have a great touch
A very beautiful image. I think it gets your point across quite nicely. And you were floating in the pool?!? Sometimes I forget that it's summertime there in South Africa. It's winter here in the US. And below freezing here in Florida! It ought to be against the law!!
Great work and yes it looks warm.
Well, I certainly agree with you. This is just exceptional.
LOL... to all my friends concerned that I was in the pool with my laptop - I got out first and then played with the images...
"floating on my back in the pool"---if that isn't bliss, I don't know what is. And your foto captures that feeling completely---this is stunning, my friend!!
love the fwwling of lonliness this evokes. Excellent work
This is such a beautiful composition. You have definitely expressed your feelings of a beautiful night. This is filled with such wonderful serenity.
Oooh, this is gorgeous! Incredibly moody, evocative, and just plain gorgeous! Perfect work. I particularly like the grasses that seem to spill and undulate like water. Stunning!
Wonderful work.
Sounds very nice!
Wonderful landscape! The light, the details, the composition are so perfect! I like it!
Great work Carin! Another studio - on your lilo in the pool! Cheers, Clive
Ohhhhhhh Dierbaar ... this is absolutely gorgeous. What a stunning image! You've done a fantastic job with this.
A beautiful night, indeed. Excellent work!

Great shot.
Its magic Carin, beautiful! Wish I was there!!! I'm glad I came because I needed to see some beauty today. Thank you for sharing and forgive please that I don't get here as often as I would like to.(((C)))
Another excellent portrait.
Wonderful work! You made perfectly the atmosphere that you described with words! :)
Super soft image Carin. This is great work and very well done my friend. Dana
there are a few of you here (Nikolay's another) who do juxtapositions & manipulations that are works of art. This has a Japanese Print feeling (in the clarity of each section, the bold moon, etc). And it has your signature modulated silvery-blue-gray sky. And the tree reaching from ground to moon is quite beautiful. A simple but complex, brooding vision; a piece of evening that we all know but are hard-put to describe; and the lighting in the sky is beautiful. Another piece of introspective seeing from you...
nice manip Carin, great work!
You are right... A beautiful night.. I can feel it through the picture.. Works so well in black n white... Rob
