Nella foto di oggi si vede la parte iniziale dei campi allagati , all’inizio della strada che porta all’allagamento vero e proprio . Qui l’acqua e’ arrivata senza forza e il livello e’ basso . L’immagine e’ scattata al tramonto il giorno 2 gennaio ( l’ultima volta che abbiamo visto il sole , anche se per pochi minuti ). Ad oggi in questi campi l’acqua non c’è piu’ .
In today's picture you see the initial part of the flooded fields at the beginning of the road leading all'allagamento proper. Here the water and 'arrived without power and the level is low. The image is taken at dusk on 2 January (the last time we saw the sun, even if for a few minutes). So far in these areas the water is no more .

Mio caro amico, ho appena controllato on-line per le previsioni meteo in Masa e mi ha fatto così triste. Quando verrà la pioggia fermata e vi darò un tempo ad asciugarsi! Mi dispiace tanto per tutte le sofferenze della tua zona. Stai facendo un lavoro superbo che documentano questo. La tua foto è bella. So che questo non è molto conforto, ma un giorno, spero presto, la pioggia si ferma, le acque si ritirano, la vita sarà ricostruito e le tue immagini sembrerà ancora più bello quando i tragici eventi sono in passato. it looks a little bit like the rice fields here in south east missouri, all flat, just like home. a very pretty picture and great mood, even if the flooding is nothing to joke about, serious disaster, i will keep you in my prayers

Inizialmente la I pensata ci era un barlume di speranza, vedente l'acqua retrocedi, ma d'altra parte leggo Lucinda' bollettino meteorologico di s. Ma questa è certamente un'immagine particolarmente bella, così almeno qualche cosa di buona è stata ricevuta dalla sofferenza. At first I thought there was a glimmer of hope, seeing the water recede, but then I read Lucinda's weather forecast. But this is certainly an exceptionally beautiful picture, so at least something good has been received out of the suffering.

thank you for stopping in my gallery: I'm a beginner at photography (I come from painting & drawing many years), so when someone as fine as you stops in my gallery, I'm very flattered. This is a fine image, capturing the near-abstract nature of this field. And capturing all the reflections & early morning light as well. The field has many vertical lines, the sky has many horizontal. There is balance between the two. But most of all, you've captured the beauty of sheer pattern & reflection. And for you, this seems wholly natural. Very fine work all around.
