I'm glad I'm not driving that Allied truck. I don't think San Antonio is that rich in fire escapes. I'll have to keep and eye out, next time I'm downtown. Excellent shot!

first of all, thanks for your wonderful comments. (And yes, Mark is an out-of-sight name, and frankly should be nominated for name of the year or something.) I comment slowly, I take longer per image than most because I'm like a snail, so I get through a 'cycle in, like, 3 or 4 days. So know that I'll get here eventually, just slower than most...But I saw this and loved it, first because of the narrow opening and all that wall & detail (the rich play of windows, bricks, the detailing put even in an alleyway) (Andrea noticed that too), because of the steel & glass skyscraper at end with the bleached white light, and because you did it on an angle, and you didn't correct it! Bravo! You let the angle speak! On an angle, the energy is so different & so vibrant, I love it. And as far as fire escapes go, we have so many here in the Windy City, I never thought about them until the Big Two rolled into town (the Big Two means Tara & Marilyn: PJ didn't join them) and they're the Big Two because they were dynamite to have here & they took pictures every second of every day. I didn't have a camera then, so I watched: That'll be an upload one of these days, I'll spill the whole story and get sued...but anyway...here, you've shown them what their cities look like. I also like the light at the top of the buildings in the alley. A fine urban American shot, and lots of fun. Love that angle!
