I did not move yet to Lake charles and my son say wait till next week end. I know I need to let the water run some but do I need to turn on the heater as low as it will go to keep the house a little warm . I will not be there so i was wondering. I may go anyway to spent the week end there?

They sound great Jock, I've never tasted one. As for the heater what type of heater do you have ? Depending on the type it can be safe to leave them.
nice capture!!
Lovely gentle light, Jock. I agree with you, they do taste better that oranges and are easier to eat.
Neat shot of what look like tiny pumpkins, Jock. I like navel oranges myself. And, temperatures in the mid 70s every day out my way. Wish we'd get some rain.
You can use a heat lamp (you know, the red ones used in bathrooms for heating it to take a shower in a nice warm room).. I used to use them in the out building to keep my pump from freezing and it kept it without ice down to below zero temperatures. If you get a device to turn it on & off at certain times you can keep the place warm. Putting one in the bathroom and one in thekitchen your water ill keep running fine... Turn on a small trickle on the outside fawcets.. Better than leaving a heater on all day and all night.. and cheaper too... nice picture and great story to go with it....
Will have to try this one. Aloha
Beautiful shot, wonderful light and fantastic details.
