Description
I have never seen one like this out side of a Sci-Fi movies.
One of the things about moving from up north to down here is all the different bugs. Don't worry! I'm not going to hit you's with bunches of insect shots. Just thought this one was cool looking and because of the cold snap we are having here. I needed some filler shots here or there, till my next time it's nice enough to go out and get more.
Hope you enjoy and do zoom.
Thank's for the comments.

Great and interesting capture.
Just a few months ago we took five to six out of these out of our house and they were all over the place at the police department...turns out they are called wood-borer beetles. Careful not to squish them..they smell HORRIBLE!
I agree with Erestofan - we call them Stink Bugs! Cheers, Clive
This a movie star !!!
Yassskkk….Beautiful catch but not to interest lol. But you know times it is necessary to take the realism of our thoughts like. Cheer still and mile mercies ((5++)) Yassskkk....Belle prise mais pas intéresser lol.Mais tu sais des fois il faut prendre le réalisme de nos pensées comme . Bravo encore et mile mercis ((5++))
looks a lot like what we call "blister bugs" in West Texas.... hope you haven't run into any palmetto bugs yet... they love to fly right atcha! good stuff, bub!
BUG! splat Oh, excuse me where taking a picture?
lol@Bill... it's a nice bugshot and you got me wondering about it's legs, cause I counted 4 on his left side and only one and a biggie on the right..
Hit me with as many as you like! I LOVE 'em!
mermaid it's right and left front legs are both under it's head. Middle left you can see but the middle right is obscured by it's body and it's hind legs on both sides are big and flat. Sham on you Bill. Now you have stinky foot. ;D Good news! It warmed up a little today. High of 60 degrees, so I went down to a local park and got a few more pictures. :D
He kinda has a pre historic look to him. I hope I don't come across one like it.
