Description
I captured this pano in WalvisBay, Namibia in March last year. It is a lovely vista right by the lagoon and I loved the contrast between the blue-green of the water and the red boathouse and boats! To me the gulls complete the picture!
DO ZOOM!!!
Thank you for visiting and for your wonderful comments and favs on my "6X Cute" upload of yesterday!

Superb Pano Carin.
Lovely and colourful; looks like a wonderful place to relax!
WOW What a SUPERB Pano indeed. I just luuv the colors and the composition too.
A gorgeous scene with wonderful colors, great!!
Great composition! The elements which create perspective are at a very wide angle, which works perfectly in this panorama.
Striking for its composition, colour and the quality of the light. Outstanding!
Lovely picture, the sea is so clear, beautiful in zoom.
I do like the colours - a place I must still visit. Cheers, Clive
extremely beautiful sescape and capture
Wonderful photo! love the scene, so serene and peaceful

wow its so beautiful Carin .. now theres a place I could stay at for the next 3 months lol
Marvelous place to take a photo and do the holydays. Thanks for sharing.
i zoomed - it is stunning panorama!!!
Excellent work Carin esp the wide angle vista.. Interesting history from what I recall the names related to the Whale hunting that once took place here..
Very, very nice Carin. The softness of the fog shroud sets the atmosphere for this colorful scene and reminds me of living on the coast of California where the fog rolled out mid-morning and back in during late afternoon. I am also partial to panos when you can get them. Nicely presented.
excellent panorama! RS
I come from the land of rising water... I am so fascinated by this shot. It is close to the water, not built up very high. It looks like some sort of driveable surface is right to the waterline and all I can think of is - doesn't the water rise? I minimum of 20 feet up - above that boat house - would be a starting place for building out of flood's way but even then, wind, crashing waves, the ocean's temper tantrums, would take this away year after year. It so lovely though with the gorgeous color of the water and the bright red repeated in it and you are right...the gulls do put the frosting on this cake!
O-so inviting!
A lovely spot and the seagulls make an interesting addition. This has a lovely ambiance.
Excellent image!!!
Wonderful scene, Carin. I like the bright, bold colors and your great composition. Well done.
Stellar beyond my meager capacity to describe, Carin!
Wow! This is a gorgeous shot. What a beautiful place and I agree the gulls do make the scene.
This looks like a little bit of paradise! What a gorgeous image. The colors are fantastic, and I love the composition. Liefde baie, Dierbaar!

Excellent and colorful image. A bit of a surprise. I had always imagined Walvis Bay was a more primitive place (yes I was the geek in high school who knew where Walvis Bay was).
Beautiful scene :)
