Description
Everybody needs a kick start at the beginning of a new year and especially on Monday, so I though 'Looking for Wind' might be a good way to begin.
A Paddle Steamer is towing a sail ship out of harbour and literally "looking for wind".

Wow, a majestic kick start to the New Year. Spectacular work!
There's so much to like about this one. It reminds me of some of those old 19th century colored lithographs in many respects. I especially like the city background and the smokey atmosphere. The ship models are top notch, too.
Fantastic scene! Interesting timeframe there, just at the dawn of the Age of Steam.
Excellent concept, masterfully rendered. Perfect down to the last detail.

It looks like they need some wind to get rid of the smoke too. Beautiful image! Great mid-nineteenth century feel to it!

It's almost as a real oil painting...made by the Dutch painter Andreas Schelfhout (1787-1870). Fabulous Bryce work. Congrats, Peter.
