Description
Everybody needs a kick start at the beginning of a new year and especially on Monday, so I though 'Looking for Wind' might be a good way to begin.
A Paddle Steamer is towing a sail ship out of harbour and literally "looking for wind".

I looked at this image and thought "Great image" wonder why an old picture by some 19th century artist has been uploaded. Then I read the info. This is a truelly stunning piece of work, and would not look out of place hanging beside any piece of work in a gallery. A true Bryce master.
Excellent work! Great atmosphere and mood. :)

Bryce ? Just Bryce ? OMG ! when I see what I can do in Bryce and what YOU can do...this is more than excellent, it's a masterpiece.
This is like one of those Dutch paintings that you can sit and look at for an hour and still see new things. For some reason I love the child on the dock the most--it gives the whole picture a lift! New beginnings everywhere;)
A Bryce masterpiece, I'm amazed. It is so wonderfully detailed and well lit it reminds me of some of those stunning Dutch paintings.
Masterpiece for sure a delight to the eyes!!

This is amazing Peter! It has the rich quality of a painting.. And I mean the kind of painting that you can find in a museum.. You are in a leaque of your own my friend! EXCELLENT work!
superb image!
This has more of a feel of an Old Master painting than a render - superbly realised and very imaginiative and creative details, such as the foreground figure, the birds and smoke. Altogether amazing!
gorgeous image, Peter! a sad farewell to the Age of Sail, I reckon....
Excellent! The beginning of the industrial pollution told as a poetic story, waoooh!
