Eyes closed, possibly crying. Red and vines/veins.... blood and death? Hands - Praying? What's it mean? Maybe it represents the end of 2009.... Sad to see another year of life come to an end.... I remember thinking when I was a kid and looking at 2000 I was saying: "I'm going to be old!" LOL... you're only as old as you feel... and some people look at Renderosity as people playing with paper dolls - lol - no wonder why I like this - lol... I'm a kid again = lol
That's a cool effect with the squiggly lines! On a side note, it kinda reminds me of my buddy sneezing spaghetti out of his nose...no I'm not kidding. [so much for those art appreciation lessons...back to skool for meeeeee] :P Happy New Year Mandi!

Interesting. I can't help but note the expression to the eyes, each pair has hand partially covering one eye... So many possible meanings, only the best art can make one ask more questions than it answers. Well done.
The eyes are all closed(blind??)and the hands are enlighted! may be they can do something to help???!!!It seems they go through the net and they melded with it !I love the simetric composition.Happy new year,Mandi:-)))

Very beautiful. It was fun finding the eyes in this. I love the hands they look gentle and wise. The soft blended colors and raised textured lines are a wonderful contrast. It has the feel of Impressionism to me.
