That's fun...I can just imagine the conversation!
I have many fond memories of this combination and early trips when in the RAF
two great pieces of machinery...
wonderful shot ! its great they are stillaround
Very spectacular shot by the low POV and the extreme sharpness of textures. The faded out colors of the plane and of the Land Rover, contrasted with the saturated green of the plants, add to the nostalgy of the scene
superb image!!
I might have a couple of different objects (I never saw a Land Rover until I was in my 20s), but the real question is what will your children be nostalgic for when they are our ages? Interesting thought:) Great shot BTW:)
Now that's a toothy grin... happiest Dakota I've seen all week!P
Superb
lol they semm to chat swith each other, a great shot, Clive!
I've just been driving in a Land Rover not to dissimilar this morning!
Ha - great shot! For some reason, when I red your title, Pumba's song in The Lion King jumped to mind... "When I was a young warthog..." Silly me! :))
Couple of old guys sitting around jawing about the old days! Great capture!
They have seen better days. Outstanding capture my friend.
A "souvenir" capture :)
ahaha!!! Great title!!!! Wonderful picture!!!
Still see a couple of those 'old' landies driving around Stamford! The Farmers still use them... As for Dak's .... well, the BBMF are based just up the road so I see their one every so often flapping over! Memories still alive.... But a fine shot... A better view of the Dak as well (lol) Rob...
