Description
This image was captured Namibia - March 2009. I was lying in one of the 4X4 tracks on my stomach and shot the image off towards my brother's vehicle where the family was sitting! I just somehow love how this came out... I am also wishing with all my heart that I can be thre at this very moment.
Thank you for your kind comments and favs on my upload of little Nikita yesterday! She is an absolute joy and I completely fell in love!!!
Stay well!
Hugs, Carin xx

OH that is indeed a cool shot, Carin. I like the POV very much and the sand looks wonderful.
Great capture.
Great POV on this shot!
I can just visualise you, Carin!! A strange landscape to a Brit!
Yes there is a definite artistic flare to this fabulous shot Carin, and please give your new baby hugs from Aunty Jane lol, Merry Christmas Jane xx
Really impressive, great scene!!
perfect shot and pov
Wonderful point of view! Did your camera survive the dust? I guess the wind plays a fair role there too! Cheers, Clive
Interesting POV, Carin - an excellent shot.
Excellent shot, fantastic POV!
Wow they are some deep tracks to drive through. Great shot.
I like the mood of this photo and the colours of it, as if it were an old black and white photo that had been reprocessed to see it in colours again. Very nice pov and mood.
Wow. I can see why you like this! The dof is wonderful, and I love your postwork choices. There's that color-shift in the air, which I love, and the whole thing is more compelling than it should be. I mean really ... a truck on the beach? This should be "eh - nice," but it's really something quite special! Looking at this, I can easily imagine myself lying belly-down on the beach in Namibia taking photographs. :D
The end of the line!! Nice!
Fantastic capture! :)
SUPERB IMAGE!!! GREAT POV!
An excellent image with a different feel.
I would like to visit there also.I can imagine Africa has so many wonders to see.superb shot and effort
This is a fabulous shot! I can see why you like this area so much.
Great shot. I can picture you...that's being in a rut:) And the three vertical rods are? Fishing poles? Neat scene.
This was worth lying on your stomach Carin.Just by lying on your stomach taking this picture makes the picture special. An outstanding effort Carin.
skeleton coast I presume? nice compo & colors
Looks glorious to me.. Thanks for making the 'effort' to get these shots.. lol I'm sure you will manage to return soon! Have a good Xmas! Rob..
Excellent shot!
Nice picture! I like the pov where the tractor tracks occupy 75% of the image...
Awesome capture! I love this!
wow..looks like great fun!!
its an excellent shot and POV ! I watched the movie Diamonds last night ...all about the diamond trade in Sierra Leone , Angola , Nigeria and Liberia ... very god movei ..sad and scary also !!
What Tara said. The colors in the sky are fantastic. You don't have to go to Namibia to lay on your stomach in the dirt, however. You can do that anywhere, even in your own backyard.
Oh wow! Look at those colors! That whole environment is just...well...WOW! Oooh, I like this. I wish I was there. Heh...I'd bring Victor too. What a spot. What a picture. Everything works perfectly in this and well...because I'm me and my brain goes off in those strange directions, I can see this as the stand in to some wonderfully alien planet...but then Namibia has that alien planet look until you realize its right here on Earth. This is fantastic.
