Description
I caught this the day I went to Catalina Island, California with my sister. We were leaving the island and this boat sailed just past us. It was getting foggy, which gives a kind of misty, almost surreal look to the foto.

great capture...
I can just imagine myself being on that sailboat. Excellent shot. Aloha
Wonderful composition Marilyn... It is about to leave the "scene" so to speak! Great image! :)
excellent capture
extraordinary capture!!
lovely image
Yes, very 'spooky'! Right up Arthur's street, in the same genre as his recent series.
Splendid image! I love the mood, and the sense that the boat really is sailing away.
And I like the mysterious atmosphere...you could write a poem around this picture:)
This is stunning. Wonderful atmosphere you've created.
Lots of atmosphere and the spotlighting is super!

This has such a rich luminosity to it. It reminds me of paintings done on copper. Beautiful image!

Wonderful mood and image!
This gives me the feeling I used to get when I worked overseas, on the seas and when the boat that dropped us off there was a type euphoric unrealism that would wash all over me................ In any case, Very Nice Photo Marilyn and Merry Christmas!!!
Actually it makes for a really gorgeous photo. Great shot!
Wonderful! I love the mood of this and it's a gorgeous capture. I can't say if it's spooky or not (I'm a poor judge of what's spooky) but it's moody as all get out and I love the misty quality of it. This is great.
This alone would be a fantastic memory of your trip. Well seen and caught. The off center shot does make the sailboat seem to be moving. Dana
