Description
After we walked around the Near North Side of Chicago on that famous Friday morning, Mark and Marilyn and I wandered South into the city.
Of COURSE I took pictures of tall buildings! The challenge will be to show you something different with each one. I'm working hard on narrowing it down so that every image is somehow unique.
It's not easy!
Here's the first building. I have no idea which one it is -- I was just staring like a tourist with a camera -- I wasn't asking questions!

Okay, Bill has talked me into doing research: This is The Heritage at Millenium Park which is apparently downtown condos. You can check out their website here or the Wiki article here if you're interested in learning more.

Great image really makes you feel small.
Now, ready for this forensic look? The challenge as I see it is identifying something unique about each building in your upcoming series. I thought I could identify this building easily for you...floors appear to be in groups of three, it appears to have balconies making me think residential but the green glass says (to me), no...office building. It appears that the front is to the right and you are primarily focused on the right side of the building. Counting groups of three...looks like the building exceeds 50 floors. Well, my problem is Chicago has a scad of buildings over 50 stories and not all of them have pictures readily available...particularly residentials:-( All that aside...great POV. It is altogether too easy when shooting upward to get crazy leans in your building. You got this straight...or maybe PS did :), but it looks plum to me!!! Looking forward to more.

wonderful shot. wonder if you thought of the past as you walk these streets and think of the mob shot outs or just them walkiing around the city.
Oh gosh ... fenderia is right! If you open this in full view (but not full screen) and slide the viewing window back and forth over the posted image, the angle of the building in the viewing window appears to change. Trippy!

Very impressive building with a good POV
Ha - i did the sliding... it is rather freaky! Fantastic shot Tara! I vividly remember my first time in NYC... I think my mouth was permanently ajar because, as you look up to try and see the top of a building, your mouth tends to open too!!! Luckily there were not many pigeons around!! :)

What a shot! I love the green glass in many of Chicago's highrise buildings. The POV here is amazing, and so are the reflections of the building across the street from this one. You can see hints of it in some of the windows. Great work! Even better, the sky is blue! Chicago has entered it's yearly gray period now, so it's nice to see that there actually is such a thing as blue sky!
