Neat bit of cloning and digifiddling in this composition, Bill. Looks fantastic. How many layers did you use?

fine manipulation, they're identical but you varied the lighting subtly and they look like two creatures. Your filtering is subtly done--this is a big deal because filters that fade edges and intensify centers can take over with little effort; one has to use them sensitively, and you did. You painted with a delicate brush. The glow in the center is beautiful for the birds, a kind of night snow glow, and you've processed it to leave a halo, or better, a ghost corona around the main glow. Painting with light, something you've been doing for a while now. I think it's beautiful, esp with the blues & other hues dripping into the center (and a little droplet off the roof on the right--a very nice detail). More fine work with photography & painting, and as always, done with real sensitivity. And of course, it's your birds, which you come back to again and again. They're taking you into so many places in yourself: What a wonderful inspiration they've been!
Great capture and you strike twice on this one...!!!!!!
WOW! I had to study then intence to see if you manipulated. You did a remarkable job on it.
