Deceptively simple. Super pic.

the texture of the sand with the sparkle is delightful.

oh, i love sand and stuff around...:) nice capture
Very fine artwork! Everything is right here: Whitestone, dark sand, light and shadows and a fine small frame in the right color tone. Very interesting the watermarks in the sand from erosion. Fine catch!
Gorgeous sand! If memory serves me, it's chromite. I used to import it for use in foundry casting. The fine hard grain was perfect for a nice smooth finish on the metal. Chromite was always my favorite, and I do remember I brought it in from South Africa. Gosh ... that was a lonnnnng time ago! Wonderful image, aside from the ramblings you provoked! LOL!
Lovely patterns and glittery light! Excellent image!
No NO, its a giant monster's skull, see the eye socket and nose, teeth... Missing the lower jaw but clearly a giant monster's skull. Course, it does look like it may have been hit with Godzilla's Atomic Heat Ray :) Awesome shot!
Less is more I always heard Hugs Susan~
The same patterns we have here in winter when the snow is spinning around the trees and make holes and hills.
