Lime said,"Keep it down and stay within seven or eight feet and I think I can keep us invisible. Are the faux Toxics in place, Snowy?" Snowflake said, "Yeppers! This is going to be GREAT! Measure,you are a genius!" Measure shrugged. "If you hadn't found some Cyclops females with poly-mimetic skin and hair, this would never have a chance of working. I was just shocked that Oheeeyuuu went along with my lame-ass plan! I thought she didn't like Toxic. Almost show-time. Let's check." The three conspirators looked around. There were police SWAT team members moving around in the crowd, focusing on Snowflake's friend, Sapphire in Toxic garb. Measure reached out in the SNARE communication system to Toxic. "Toxic where are you?" Measure kept it short so she could concentrate on neutralizing the police weapons. Toxic said, "In a hangar, getting ready to bluff past the guard guys. I'm with Jaeko and Neon and Jaffa. You don't know him. He kidnapped me once." Measure blinked and Lime and Snowflake looked confused. Measure shook her head. Measure said, "Get ready to go when I say." The police leveled their rifles at Sapphire and shouted,"FREEZE! MOVE AND WE"LL SHOOT!" Measure told Toxic, "Move!" The police officer in charge said, "You are under arrest for being an illegal clone! Anything you say can be used against you in court!" Another Toxic in bright yellow got off the mag-lev train. Some of the police near there leveled their rifles and shouted, "FREEZE!" One of them yelled at the officer in charge,"Zeffer! We got ANOTHER one!" Sapphire in Toxic-face said,"Could you count my EYES? I think you have the wrong species! I'm a CYCLOPS! Y'know...machine-life? Over to one side another police officer shouted, "HEY YOU! FREEZE! DAMMIT! THIS ONE HAS A SWORD! WE GOT ANOTHER ONE!" Measure caught Oheeeyuuu using her solid hologram projector to make that one. That Toxic shouted, "You'll never take me alive, ya dirty coppers!" She leaped over one cop and sliced through the rifle of another and sprinted up the stairs, past the crowd of civilians and leaped off on the other side of the tracks, and ran past another Toxic and into a corridor, disappearing out of sight. Snowy asked Measure, "You Naga have technology that allows solid holograms? That can shout and CUT THROUGH metal objects?" Measure was shocked, and whispered, "I guess we do! When my mom told me, we have had technology for over 980 MILLION years, I never really thought of the implications until right now! WOW." A couple of other Toxics came out of the bathrooms and police pointed weapons around. The SWAT team commander shouted, "ALL YOU...PEOPLE are under arrest! For...uhhh..helping a fugitive evade capture!" Sapphire said, "Like HELL! We are protesting the treatment of another living being who's mother was an alien to this planet, and a friend of the Cyclops from being treated UNFAIRLY! ISN'T THAT RIGHT?" There were some shouts of affirmation from the other 'Toxic's in the swelling crowd. Measure, Lime and Snowflake had trouble controlling their laughter. When Hawkwing and Rose got off the elevator with their skins Toxic colored, They started giggling. Measure laughed, "That is every single Cyclops female in Shalmiraine, now! LIME! Teleport us out of here, quick!" The police trooper closest to them looked around and asked, "Who's that laughing! This is serious business! COME OUT! Lime teleported them back to the ship, after phasing them through the floor. Snowflake and Measure looked shocked. Measure said, "We..we WENT THROUGH THE FLOOR? Holy crap." Snowflake asked, "How long did you know you could do THAT? AND were you ever planning to tell US?" Lime beamed, "I know I can do it, NOW! Wasn't sure until I tried!" Measure said, "Disappear for a while. Telepaths can't read mine or Snowy's mind; or yours if you're out of the solar system." Lime said,"Right", and disappeared. --To be continued!--
