Hi Folks,
I am working on trying to improve my Skye character. I have worked on the textures, especially the eyes and bump. Further refined the morph with the sculpt tools in modo.
I was after something close to a realism/photograph style with this image.
By the way, check out Camerabag by Nevercenter (the makers of the Silo modeler), an excellent and fast post production app. :)
Image composed, set built and rendered in Modo.

Poser 8 > Modo > Photoshop > Camera Bag > Pixelmator.

The eyes are very striking and the skin looks very real. She looks a bit alien to me but that's probably down to her missing hair. Trev's right about the symmetry although I saw a documentary which theorised that the more symmetrical the face the more attractive it was to anyone who saw it. This was borne out with examples of well known Hollywood "lookers" all having very symmetrical faces. On the other hand faces with real character tend not to be so symmetrical. Great work so far Steve. I'd love to see a close up with some hair.
