Description
This was one of those shots where I got more than I knew when I took it. It's not so much the surfers, but how you can see the line of the wave.
I'm home, and the quiet is wonderful. That's what I missed the most. Not so much that southern California is noisy--it surely is--it's that each place I stayed had its own sounds--people, dogs, tv's, sometimes just the constant conversation was too much. So, tonight, it's just me, the noisiest thing is the popping of the wood on the fire. Home sweet home.
