No, my dearest...it doesn't. It dulls, and it subsides, but it never is truly gone. But it's the small, beautiful moments that we must take solace in. We must look at the ones around us that we love and cherish and find strength and meaning in them, and see the beauty within ourselves and grow from pain. It never goes away, my dear, but it does get easier over time. My love and thoughts are with you.

Pain and sadness. You have to encapsule them and bury them somewhere, where they do not infringe upon everyday life. Otherwise, they turn to poison and will kill your heart, and eventually take your life. Oh, you never do rid yourself of them, they are just managed in a toxic waste dump, somewhere this side of our soul. Haunting, sad image. (Still, rendered well, Deane!)
