Some interesting facts about the name Rena The girl's name Rena r(e)-na is pronounced REE-nah. It is of Hebrew origin, and its meaning is "melody". Also short form of Irene (Greek) "peace" and Irena. Another path traces the male name Rena to the Latin word “renacer,” which means “to be reborn.” [1] Through the Latin origin, Rena may be said to be a variation of the name Renee. It has one other ancient meaning: God/Goddess or Godlike. So i geuss i can share my middle name with so beautiful a character. LOLOLOL!!
