Description
Captured 10/18/09, at the beautiful Orchid Show held in the beautiful Huntington Botanical Center and Conservatory in beautiful San Marino, California.
Just one of the many photogs present that eschewed a flash. Other than the gender, clothing, type camera, and cable release, this was me at the show: the attitude, body language, concentration, pose, preliminaries, everything.
For those who are curious, since this was indoors, I also used a tripod to take this series of shots, and the lady was so intensely involved at her task that she had no idea that she was being captured on memory card. In fact, I have other pictures of her in another building featuring orchids at the show. I also have shots of other photographers present, with a minimum of ninja or sneak factor involved.
And, with all the tripods present, it was the perfect milieu for a dueling contest.
Ta-ta, and thankx for the visit.

Sure she is looks serious setting up her camera. Makes me wonder what a picture looks like what she takes.
Nice equipment...looks like she is really good at it:-)
did you have your tripod out too. I like this as you started far off then comeing up closer and closer . she into it for sure for she did not see you.
Nice series of photographer captures; did she know you were shooting her?
Great collage showing this photo-bug working the magic!
Nice work, Harry!
ZOOM is a must on viewing this collage. The detail is amazing. It is a good thing she washed her ears that morning...had she not, it would have shown:))) I like your point that photographing other photographers is easy...they are so absorbed, you can take what you want.
Hehe... great collage Harry with zero sneak factor! She surely is engrossed in her photography! :)
I want to see her photo too! hehe. Nice shot Harry!
Awesome shots making a great story! I really like the different pics sizes gives a sense of getting closer to the photographer as if I was walking toward her. Very cool!
Lucky girl to have a nice profile! I love the little pinky! Very nice set of shots. Her concentration is very obvious. I'm betting her shots are great too.
So interesting! I'm really pleased that I don't have to carry all that kit! Great shots.
Wow--some serious equipment she has there--nice work, Harry--you really caught her intensity!!
Fantastic study. Excellent shots.
Great shots Harry.
lol...so with so many pros in the same spot there is a possibility someone has taken a series like that with you...grin
Can't say I've EVER seen anyone that intent on a flower photo before! But then, I don't take that many myself... Good snap reversal, Harry! Rob..
