This is a lovely poem/thought.. I feel like that often lol.. very well done Marilyn..
Oh, I know that feeling more than I can possibly say...I want off this merry-go-round, I often tell myself...but that's not gonna happen, and even if it could, I don't think I'd change much. The ins and out, the ups and downs are all reminders that we're alive, and I sense your awareness of that in what you wrote. As always, you cut right to the meaty-bits of the main point, and you do so with such ease. Great stuff! I love the image as well, it's so fitting, so brooding and moody and contemplative, but also full of promise. I like that.
