ship 'design' by my 7-year-old brother heheh
i was sitting here bored, wondering what i could do since i couldn't concentrate to study for my exams, and i thought, "hey, may as well make it 3D" or something
here's the result
i tried to make it look exactly like the actual thing my brother made, and it IS pretty close
just the textures are different
anyway
i really suck at modelling, especially with lightwave, so be kind

the ship parts were created in lighwave and put together in bryce. everything is bryce, except the lense flare which i did in photoshop, and playing with the lighting a bit
oh yeah, and the 'lasers', i tampered with them too

That ship came out pretty damn cool man! I really love the shielding around it, that rocks. Are we going to see this bad boy blowing up some evil ships in a dog fight to the death, or what? Seriously, you did a fine job modeling it. Nice work!
I agree, this is some pretty cool modeling work. Don't be so hard at yourself. If I had Lightwave, I'd probably be able to fire up the app and that's it. A very fun render!
Are you sure it's Lego? It doesn't look like lego. I have lots and lots of lego (geez I sound like an 8 year old)
