Aloooooha~
10 minutes after I took my last image I posted, the clouds rolled in and a beautiful day turned to this. I'm a little further out beyond the fence then my last shot trying to see over the edge. It's quite a sight to look into the crater...not as dangerous as it looks.
Once again the the steam vents looking east this time from the crater rim. If you look closely in the middle right background you can see the Kilauea Lodge and restaurant...nice place to eat and view the crater...although it's a little pricey.
It's almost Fri. for me and I can smell the weekend....wooooHoooooo! Aloha to everyone~

You aught to show this photo to the restaurant, maybe they'll buy it from you or you could print out some postcards of it and get a commission??? The picture is well worth buying a postcard - might think about it.

Nice rays of light blending into the steam clouds.... There is a trail from the Volcano house leading down into Kilauea.....and then headed towards Halemaumau. Very nice shot my friend. Aloha
