Description

Here is a new specimen for me. I have never seen a female Blue-faced Meadowhawk before even though I do have pics of males. This one is in the process of egg laying. The females of this species just fly around and drop their eggs into the water. If you look closely, you can see three newly emerged eggs near the tip of her tail that she has not dropped yet. I posted a big image to make this easier to see. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee
