Wonderful scene!
great photo!!
Nicely captured..
Going to get you one of those black convertibles Sig? Neat contrast with the lawn mower:) I like the fact you leave your photos very large for detail but in this case, I zoomed in on just the horse and buckboard...a cropping of this by itself would look great with the man's white beard and the horse's mane flying in the wind.
Great capture Sig, Love the contrast of old and new... well done!!
amish country reminds me of the movie with harrison ford ,looks almost the same.great shot siggy.
Splendid composition and colors my friend
Wonderful capture and composition my friend.
Excellent Shot!!!
excellent capture ! I love these scenes
The Amish are fascinating people. I never thought they'd make it through the pressures of modern society these last 50 years. This has a great "Amish" feel to it with the starkness of basic belief on one hand and the motorized lawn tractor on the other.
WOW - wonderful image Sig! Pity about the lines and "real world" stuff! It could be a shot from yesteryear!!! :)
ein wunderbares Foto der Gegensätze!!!!
fantastic shot! and Intercourse means what I think? I visited it and they seemed to hint at THAT meaning in their souvenirs! ;-)
Excellent moving capture shot!
really great shot !!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic photo!!!!! Interesting to see the modern tractor and "modern" man contrasted with the Amish! Beautiful clarity and pov!!!! Different strokes for different folks!!!!! Great work!!!!!
Wonderful image! :)
Nice peaceful country lane
Super capture and particular like the clash of technology between the horse and buggy and the tractor!
Looks soo much like my part of the country ..awesome shot!!
Very interesting scene..well captured! :)

Oh goodie! I'm glad you're getting into your pics from PA. I've been wanting to see these! Excellent image.
Also enjoyed the contrast/conflict with the STOP sign and lawnmower. Very well seen and captured. Dana
Very nice!
wonderful shot we have amish people here in wisconsin too
Wonderful image! Like many who have already commented, I like the contrast between the old and the new. I also like the stop sign in the middle. It could represent a wish to stop the change of the modern world or conversely to stop bucking the majority and give in to that change. I love all the open space which illustrates the smallness of man in the larger scheme of things.
