Description
Had some fun with this one. Wanted to give you a feel for what things look like in a really crowded sixty-plus year old hangar. For effect, I bumped the color saturation up and added a couple of filters. Would tell you which ones but I can't remember:-)
For those who must know:), beginning on the left and moving clockwise, you are looking at 1) the left engine on a Beech SNB-5 (Twin Beech), 2) the jet engines and rotorhead of a Sikorsky CH-54A Skycrain helicopter, 3) the left airleron of a Douglas C-47D Skytrain (Dakota) and 4) the tail of a North American O-47B Observation airplane built circa 1940.
Made me feel good to find some stuff in here older than me!

Fabulous result, Bill! I don't need to know (!), but the image is wonderful, anbd I love the filterwork!
It does look chaotic. Wonderful image! :)
Sure does, you made me chuckle Bill, great pic.
You have pulled somehing out of the mess, Bill! Well done, Clive
Always very interesting. These old-fashioned things my friend. A work which tells their exploits like Bravo and mile mercies ((5++)) Toujours très intéressant. Ces vieilleries mon ami .Une oeuvre qui raconte leurs exploits comme Bravo et mile mercis ((5++))
This view (and presentation) is more interesting to me than the ones we came for, because it spans so many events and concepts as well as the machines. Your postwork is excellent, too.
interesting picture!!!! Great shot!!!!!!
splendid chaos, it looks my home!
most excellent POV and postwork ! great image
Really cool and the filters did the trick!
Looks like they need to have a garage sale--lots of pretty impressive stuff here!!
great shoot
What a great hobby to re-assembly this :)
Excellent Bill...and yeah that is crowded...woah! Cool filter work for sure!!:-)
superb chaotic place!!!
someone grab a broom quick! Great shot!!
Yay, another new aircraft added to my knowledge. Wiki filled me in on the O-47B. Thanks Bill.
Love the filters, but am "ooooh pretty" about the planes. :) Your new clutter kick is going to keep me entertained for sure. I'm really liking it so far!
wonderful photo!!!!!
But not older than me. You'd have to go back to the Sopwith Pup and Spad for that. Beats me on the filters, especially the banded effects.
Great shot, well done Bill.. this is a busy shed there.. well done!!
Une magnifique composition (cadrage, effet matière/couleur)
Now these are what any airplane buff would love to have in the hanger. Fine work, Bill! Did you get an individual pic of the O-47? I've never seen one in real life and it is a very rare bird.
A bouquet of aircraft stuff... I am so very ignorant on this subject Bill but I do like what you did with the image! It has a cool feel about it!! :)
LOL great shot!!!!!!
Fantastic!!!, even the postwork is good.
Awsome lots of interest! Great results with the manipulation.
Was sure fun rooting around inside that hanger.. Shots galore.. Well as people can see of me now.. Your up today, I think... Great one.. Rob
there use be a local company that had old helicopters for lifting heavy equipment.when they would fly over the ground would shake. I bet this one would feel like a tremor
