Hi and welcome to last picture in my Thunderbirds picture story - "Trapped in the Sky" ------------------------------------------- Picture 1 (9) - Top Right With the high speed Elevator Cars in position at the end of the Fire Flame's runway the pilot is given the order to make a normal approach and to keep his head. Picture 2 (10) - Bottom Right As the huge super jet transport makes its final approach the pilot try's his best to line up with the three Elevator Cars which have now started to accelerate down the runway at ever increasing speed. Picture 3 (11) - Bottom Left Lower, ever lower the Fire Flame descends until finally the huge craft comes into contact with the roofs of the three Elevator Cars and the pilot can finally put his craft into reverse thrust in an attempt to slow the mammoth transport vehicle down before it runs out of runway. Picture 4 (12 - Last) - Top Left With the Fire Flame's engines in full reverse thrust and the brakes fully applied to the three Elevator Cars the massive transport aircraft finally comes to a metal grinding halt only yards from the end of the runway. As the craft comes to a stop military rescue vehicles rush to the scene to aid in the recovery of the crew. Its yet another mission successfully over for International Rescue - The End (For now).
