Description
Welcome to the second day of my three day International Rescue picture story - Trapped in the Sky.
------------------------------------------
Picture 1 (5) - Top Right
A computer diagnostic of the damage caused by the buring shrapnel fragment which penetrated the Fire Flame's main spine reveals the crew's worst fears. Electrical power to the escape hatches including the ones for the ejection units has been cut off. Even worse the power to the landing gear is also damaged. This means the crew is quite literally "trapped in the sky".
On the ground the Flight Controller has only one choice - its time to send for Interntional Rescue.
Picture 2 (6) - Bottom Right
In a blast of fire and flame International Rescue's Thunderbird One launches from its silo at the organisations South Sea island base.
Picture 3 (7) - Bottom Left
Following close behind, Thunderbird Two also launches carrying with it the heavy equipment which will be used in the rescue operation.
Picture 4 (8) - Top Left
Within a few short hours Thunderbirds One and Two land at the Fire Flames military airfield and immediately un-load and move into position the three high speed Elevator Cars which will be used for the Fire Flame rescue.
Notes:- The Fire Flame super heavy transport I am using in this series of pictures is a composite I created using a set purchased from Power Fusion.
