Description
Point Lonsdale. This area is dotted with WW2 pillboxes, but I am not 100% sure whether the structure in the left of the shot is millitery or just an old navigational beacon. It just looks totally different to all the others. I don't know much about them, but all the others have the 'slot' going sideways!

Amazing shot, all beaches seem to have a different tale to tell. alanwilliams
Amazing discovery, never seen them anywhere else before... Quite a treat, those pillboxes...that's history ! (some of that is good to be forgotten) What a beautiful, clear and detailed capture. Cheers BB
Lovely
Great capture!! Excellent!! I Was trying to leave you a comment last night when Ren went down.. was aggravating.
I've seen lots of WWII gun emplacements but none like this. Fascinating patterns on the beach...rock I presume?
fantastic place!!
Excellent shot!
the water around Oz is so clear, not like Galveston Texas.beautiful seascape
It's a beautiful spot, no matter what those are!!
Looks kind of 'obvious' for a pill box.. They tend to be low and hidden.. But this is an outstanding shot.. What a POV.. Lovely.... Well done.. Rob
Wonderful capture.
I love the naturalness of this shot !!
