Description
This guy has eluded me time and again. He lives on the Santa Ana River, about a mile inland. I swear I've seen him for the past two years and have tried and tried to get him. I think I did get a shot or two last year. The first time I rode the trail to the beach, there he was, just teasing me. I'm getting closer!!

These guys are very elusive and hard to get close to, You seem to have won this round, excellent capture!!!
Nice shot and processing!
Ah, I know EXACTLY how you feel! You did well on this one, though!
he looks tired! great shot! RS
Cool guy... Bravo for getting closer! Keep on going girlfriend! :)
looks good to me!
Like it Marilyn. Did he pull into the pits for a couple of tires? Heh, heh...
Very great colors, nice shot!
cool shot. yes they hard to get at times
Super capture of your elusive nemesis, Maz, but, old tires stacked up in the beautiful Santa Ana River? What is with all this garbage and detritus marring and poisoning the countryside? Anyway, I like the contrast created by the backlighting behind the waterfowl.
Yes, great capture. It is like they know how tostay just out of range. Dana
LOL This is a great shot! Awesome capture.
Lovely capture Marilyn, you will win in the end, I guess you got closer because he was Tyred lol well done!!
cool shot x

And yet he still plays "King of the Mountain". Fantastic find and capture.
sweet capture warm hugs, Linda
Interesting shot and combination. Aloha
I think you'll catch him a lot closer once he realizes that resistance is futile. I like this a lot. Those colors are almost surreal and so sharp. I particularly like the composition...those tires are just perfect, and he looks so...well...elegant in that snooty sort of avian way that can only be managed with spindly legs and a beak. I love this. It's elegant and the composition is spot on. You have such a good eye for details like this.
great capture my friend, to bad about the tires in the river, but still great capture
You only caught up with him because his car sank!! Perhaps he's too tyred to fly off! They remind me of a hunch backed waiter in a silent movie. Super capture, well done.
