Description
Cheri (elfin14doaks) is celebrating her birthday today! I have chosen this 'trainee pilot' as a gift for your birthday my friend. May you spread your wings and soar the skies today and for the years to come.
He entertained us in Walvis Bay, Namibia in March when we visited. I think he was still a young brown pelican then and was literally practising for flight!
Have a wonderful weekend all and thanks for comments and favs on my previous upload!
Stay well!
Hugs, Carin xx

OHH MY!! it is lovely Carin. What a wonderful dedication.
Sweet sentiment and very cool shot. Ever since I was a little kid I have wished I could fly. Since the age of 12 I have regularly checked on jetpacks to see if the price has come down:) Cynthia
Great Shot. We don't get much like that in our neck of the woods.

Wowwww!! This is great! I love the colors of the pelican and the rocks, and against that amazing Namibian sea, the browns really pop. An excellent photograph, and a lovely dedi. Happy Birthday to Cheri!

This is astonishingly good! Not surprising since you're good...but WOW! Wonderful clarity. This guy looks a bit prehistoric: naturally I'd like that! The colors and the light are fantastic as well! You have a wonderful eye for this and the composition just rocks. WOW! And it's an excellent birthday dedication as well. Great stuff!
Wonderful analogy depicted in this marvelous concept, all elegantly framed and worded, for our birthday girl, Carin! Stellar bit of work, indeed!
