Description

Fields of Gheissorhiza Eurystigma (Kelkiewyn - roughly 'small glass of wine') taken at Waylands Flower Reserve, Western Cape. All of these bulbs flourish in wetlands, the place of photographers with muddy boots and wet toes. Enjoy a sip! Clive

You win for most unusual flower of the week! I was tromping around in a corn field after a rainstorm last Saturday morning so I know full well what you mean about muddy boots Clive.

jaw on floor * This is amazing! Just look at those! They don't look real. If you'd painted one instead of photographing them, I would have said you were making it up. This is exactly why I'm all excited about this series of yours ... I know I'm going to see such fantastic things!!!
