Description
We were walking to catch a bus and started to cross the street. This stopped us our tracks. Chicago just blew my mind in so very many ways!!

This is wonderful! We all got such different shots of this. I love your version!
WOW! Jeez, I live here and scarcely even see stuff like this! I do on occasion, but you really caught that golden/peachy sunset glow throwing the more grungy parts of the city into full-on shadow. WOW! I love the color, the light was that intense and almost buttery, and I also love the way you caught it coming through those frosted glass globes on the street lights. This rocks in so many ways. And on top of it all, it was taken on one of the most fun days here!
Love the golden light; it paints the drab structures with mystery...Well captured!
I don't like cities, but you've made this one look attractive in this shot.
fantastic capture!!
Great work. You must have captured the perfect instant because this is stunning. Wonder colors and defuse like.
Great shot, beautiful light!
superb city image
Hate cities, but love this shot! Excellent light!!!
You know there are so many things we all got shots of, but they all turned out so differently. This is a great capture. Awesome shot.
this is super cool shot
Proves you don't need landscape vista's for a great sunset image...
Yaaaaaay!!!! A post of something I remember so vividly. The sight itself was spectacular, everyone armed with a camera just stopped dead in their tracks and started snapping away, fortunately we weren't in the middle of the street at the time, or the traffic would've had to wait! I don't think a bad picture through the buildings could've been taken, everything was awash with a beautiful orange glow. This is a great shot, I know Cheri was cackling like a mad woman when we stopped for this, but I haven't seen what she got yet. At least she wasn't frothing at the mouth this time.
Well done Marilyn. Isn't it fun to begin to see the Chicago photos of others. Each of us has a vision of the way things are...rarely is it the same.
Beautiful capture truely amazing sight, love the glow of the sun as it hits the buildings, excellent shot well done!!
