Description
A frog tries to stay a leap ahead of the agile Bare-throated Tiger Heron. I, too, try to stay a leap ahead (of my deadlines) as I try to finish up my Shorebirds Volume 2.
This heron is found from Mexico to northwestern Colombia in more open habitats than other Tigrisoma herons, such as river banks and lake edges.
Rendered in Vue 7i with no postwork.

Fantastic composition! Very good! Like the humor, too...
A fine capture of a moment! Splendid wildlife scene!
Poor little froggie
Unique subject imaginatively handled +5 from doarte's MADHOUSE
Very nicely done. There isn't any way you could do one with the frog's legs in the heron's beak and its hands squeezing the bird's throat like a cormorant ring?
Good luck little froggie!
excellent ken well done

Jump little frog jump.
So the life. Excellent!
Superb scene! I'm know the frog has no chance, still I hope he can escape. That bird is very beautiful, the detail in the feathers is really amazing. I can hardly wait until he is safely in my shopping cart. :) Beautiful work, Ken.
Greatly done. Your work is excellent! A great use of Vue!
