Description
Hi Everyone, Here is a photo I took on my way home tonight. I walked out to the edge of a pond as these birds flew in and landed. The mallards seemed to be following the grey goose as if it were their leader. They fed and swam about for a while and then climbed on this rock in the sunshine to pose for me. Hope you all are doing well, Thank you for looking and do peek at the photo full size zoom. -GB-

Awsome! Nice light, color and very clear. I love it :)
maybe the goose is their hero and protector. excellent capture George
Excellent capture. The full size is full of crisp detail. I usually get a few Mallards and Wood Ducks at my pond each year. Maybe I will be lucky enough to get a shot this year but I doubt it will turn out as well as this one did. Can you tell me what the working distance for this shot was? I also see the focal length was 300mm but was this a prime lens or a zoom lens. I ask because I am wanting a lens that reaches further than my 55-200mm does. Lee
Wonderful capture, excellent well done..
