Description
Going "over the Hump" (the Himalayas). An early deployment B29 superfortress in livery loosely based on the China-Burma-India Theatre (though the nose-art and markings are fictitious).
My copy of Shade 7 came with a few example Shade files- including a B29. Recently I've finished this off, simplifying it and exported it minus the propeller blades as an obj. I've modelled the prop blur in Shade 8, exported as obj and made the blur textures in Photoshop and then Painter. The aircraft and prop blurs have then been rendered in Poser. Post-work in Photoshop involved adjusting brightness and contrast to match the Bryce background and touching up the shadows and reflections slightly.
