Description

This is the Old Basin of the little city of Honfleur, in the Seine estuary, in front of the big town of Le Havre. Most of the houses of Honfleur are from the 16th to 18th centuries. This pict is dedicated to the excellent photographer Erlandpil. All comments welcome. Best viewed full size. — Voici le Vieux Bassin du port de Honfleur, sur l’estuaire de la Seine en face de la grande ville de Le Havre. La plupart des maisons de Honfleur remontent aux 16ème, 17ème et 18ème siècles. Je dédie cette image à l’excellent photographe Erlandpil. Tous vos commentaires seront les bienvenus. Techdata: Nikon D50 with AF-Nikkor 3.5-4.5/18-70 ED at 52mm (equiv. 24x36 78mm), 1/2.5s at f/6.3, fully manual exposure, AF set at OFF, Manfrotto Junior tripod, 200 ISO. Slight improvement of highlights and dark tones, plus sharpness increase in Lab Mode on the Grey Channel, in Photoshop CS3 Extended.
