I wrote this several months ago. Things have changed, but I still like this a lot.
Early Calls
That siren call
First thing
In the morning
Rouses me
Out of a sound sleep
I know it's you
I pick up the phone
Listen as you talk
I hear it
Through the fog
Of semi consciousness
You wake me up
Quickly with your
Soft sweet sexy voice
No matter what
You might say to me
Hey babe I hear
And it melts my heart
Sometimes the talk
Is nothing special
Sometimes it's
Lots more
Touches me
In places
Way down deep
It's never enough
These short little
Times we have
Just teasers of
What I know
Then you're gone
On with your day
I lie back
And think about
What could be

It has been
How it is
Hearing your voice
Makes me want more
