Description
These gorgeous lilies are from MooseRidge Gardens on Whidbey Island.
I took several shots of them, but wanted you to see this one in particular. The difference in color and detail between sunshine and shadow fascinated me.

Nature really knows how to put on a show for us. Great capture and detail, Clive
very beautiful !
Excellent shot...
fantastic capture... a beauty!
Beautiful !
SUPERB !!
like I always say, I zoom in my sleep (I hit zoom anytime an image pops up in a dream that isn't clear; I also do filtering & save my dreams as jpgs...), but some zooms show me why zooming is one of the most important things since the Big Bang: This really takes on a new life zoomed. Very rich overflowing textures, spilling petals, lots of spilling furrows, almost a collection of frills & old lace. And yes, the hue variations—seemingly based on the same basic hue—are fascinating. A beautiful capture, and it shows that you work beautifully in larger sizes too. Fine separation from background too. A lush opulent shot.
Just love it, outstanding capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
