Fantastic photo.
Superbly creature...bravissima!:DDD.Hugsxx
Outstanding capture Susan! I have seen so many documentaries on these guys and they say you are never supposed to look them in the eye because thats aggressive. I wonder the difference in a zoo. Lucky you to be able to be even this close to one!
You should have IM'd me, I would have been interested to know the ex wife was there behind that log spying on me :)LOL, great shot Sue.
Great shot. What a sweet face.

Look at that beautiful hand, he is huge.
Fantastic capture, Sue! Congrats on your 300th uploads! :)
Thanks so much Maria, I hadn't realised it was my 300th! Doesn't time fly when a girl is having fun :) It only seems like a short while ago I did my first.
LOL....one of my Fav animal sooooo cute and really beautiful...excellent shot my friend!!
Scared me for a second, I thought briefly that my ex husband was back. But no. this chap is much better looking.
Silverbacks are a fav or mine when I go to the zoo. They have so much to offer, including great photo ops! LOL Great shot.
